Hello, I'm LaMont

Photographer

Hey, I’m LaMont born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. My journey started as a multi-sport athlete at Webster Groves High School, where I learned the value of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. Wrestling took me to Iowa Community College and later to Kentucky Wesleyan College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Art.

Over time, my love for creativity and storytelling led me into photography. I’ve always had an eye for detail and a passion for bringing people’s visions to life. Whether it’s capturing real moments, trying new poses, or finding unique spots to shoot, I want every photo to tell a story and feel authentic.

When I’m not behind the camera or coaching wrestling at Maryville University, you can find me spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, trying new foods, or watching a good movie. For me, photography is more than just pictures it’s about creating memories that last.

I’ve been a photographer for four years, capturing everything from portraits and senior pictures to family sessions, weddings, landscapes, sports, and more. Photography has become more than just a hobby for me it’s a way to tell stories and freeze moments people can hold onto forever. I’ve also started learning video editing to expand my creativity and bring my vision to life in new ways. Every shoot teaches me something new. I love challenging myself, experimenting with fresh ideas, and learning from other creatives. My goal is to grow with every project and make each photo better than the last.

What is your Vision?

When I work with my clients, my main goal is to bring their vision to life. I’ve always had a creative mind and a love for trying new things whether that’s experimenting with different poses, exploring new spots, or chasing the right light to make a photo stand out. I enjoy capturing real moments and turning them into something unforgettable. The best part for me is seeing my clients’ reactions the smiles, the excitement, and that feeling when they see themselves looking amazing in their photos. That’s what makes what I do so rewarding.
